Parents of children who will be starting pre-K or kindergarten in the fall will want to take note of an upcoming event.

The Moose Jaw South Central Early Childhood Coalition will be hosting a special "Ages and Stages" event at the Family Resource Centre (679 Hall St. West) on Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

You will have the opportunity to learn more about early childhood development and its importance.

This drop-in event will include refreshments and a visit by representatives of the Saskatchewan Science Centre.

The Ages and Stages event is intended for children between the ages of 3 to 5. Parents must accompany their children.

There is no cost to attend.
