The South Central Regional Immigration Partnership (SCRIP) wants to ask "what does it mean to be a newcomer in Moose Jaw?" and "How can our city be a welcoming place for newcomers?"

Members of the community will come together to discuss such questions at a community forum that will be held on Thursday, April 25 from 12 to 4 p.m. at Mosaic Place.

The day will include lunch, a table talk, and a group discussion. It is sure to be an enlightening afternoon that will generate meaninfgul dialogue.

The forum will be presented as part of the South Saskatchewan Community Foundation's series of 50 Vital Community Conversations. Moose Jaw has already hosted similar events in recent weeks, but this particular event will focus on newcomers.

Get involved and have your voice heard! The "It Takes a Village to Welcome a Newcomer" forum is open to everyone and is free to attend. Be sure to reserve your spot online.
