A notice of a COVID-19 outbreak has been issued for Victoria Towers apartments in Moose Jaw, declared by public health on Feb. 20.

According to public health, an outbreak is confirmed when two or more individuals who are linked to a public setting or event test positive for COVID-19.

The new outbreak joined two other active outbreaks in Moose Jaw, including the Ranch Ehrlo Society and Viterra’s administrative office both declared on Feb. 15. Outbreaks at Xpert Rail Consulting declared on Jan. 31 and the medical office of Dr. Fauzi Ramadan declared on Jan. 25, while active when the Victoria Towers outbreak was announced, have since been removed from public health's list.

Contact tracers will be in contact with anyone who may have been exposed in relation to the outbreak.

Public health reminds residents to continue to practice the recommended safety measures and contact HealthLine 811 if COVID-19 symptoms appear.
