Council to hold special meeting to discuss mask usage in public

City council plans to hold a special meeting on Monday, Aug. 31 at 4:30 p.m. to discuss options surrounding mask usage in city buildings and on transit as a COVID-19 safety measure.

The meeting is open to the public with a maximum of 30 people allowed in council chambers, besides council members and city administrators, according to a news release. All members of the public will need to be screened for the coronavirus before being admitted.

Shaw Cable in Moose Jaw will broadcast the meeting, while it will be available to stream live from the city’s website. Click the link on the “City Council Minutes and Meetings” page to watch.
