It's time for a spring cleaning; the City of Moose Jaw's annual street cleaning program will commence on Monday, April 22.

“No Parking” signs will be posted in affected areas 72 hours prior to sweeping. Violaters will be fined $90.

Street cleaning will commence the week of April 22-26. The first area to be cleaned will be Main Street North and the downtown metered areas (Second Avenue N.W. to Second Avenue N.E. and Manitoba Street to Ross Street). To avoid disruptions, cleaning in this area will take place between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m. Please note that no parking signs will not be posted in the downtown area.

All other roads will be cleaned during daytime hours.

The following areas will be cleaned over the coming weeks:

  1. Roadways adjacent to high schools, Saskatchewan Polytech, Fourth Avenue Thunderbird Viaduct and Ninth Avenue S.W./N.W.
  2. Arterial and collector streets and bus routes
  3. Residential areas.

The list of residential areas includes:

  • North of Caribou Street: 9th Avenue NW to Fifth Avenue N.E.
  • South Hill (including Churchill Park)
