The City of Moose Jaw is inviting residents to provide feedback on its proposed parks and recreation master plan.

The municipality has hired a professional consulting team to lead engagement on the updated master plan, which includes a public and stakeholder engagement program that builds the final plan through a series of meetings and working sessions with city staff, area stakeholders and the public.

On Tuesday, Sept. 20, residents are invited to attend one of two open houses, where they can provide their thoughts on the draft recommendations — the same content will be presented at each session. These open house sessions will be drop-in style — no formal presentations — to provide a chance to learn about the project, ask questions and provide feedback.

Open House No. 1: Wakamow Valley Kiwanis Lodge Pavilion, Sept. 20 from  2 to 5 p.m.

Open House No. 2: Kinsmen Sportsplex Meeting Room/Lobby, Sept. 20 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Feedback from those who attend will directly shape the final recommendations of the parks and recreation master plan.

For further details on the parks and recreation master plan process, visit www.MooseJaw.ca/NotoriouslyEngaged or call the parks and recreation department at 306-694-4447.
