MOOSE JAW — The Moose Jaw Police Service continue to investigate the hit-and-run that occurred on Aug. 2 at approximately 12:10 pm. Police are asking the public who may have information from the incident, to come forward.
After reviewing CCTV footage, it is believed there was a black car or SUV travelling west toward the intersection of 1st Avenue Northeast and Oxford Street East at the time of the collision that may be a witness. The suspect’s vehicle is descibed to be a tomato-red, four-door truck. At this time, the year, make and model are unknown.
At the time of the hit-and-run, the suspect fled east on Oxford Street. The victim was taken to the hospital by EMS with serious injuries.
The MJPS is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect by checking their home or business CCTV footage from approximately 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
If the public has any information regarding the incident or video footage of the red pickup truck, please come forward to the police. Police are also asking for the suspect to come forward to the police.
