City employees donate to charities

The city held a raffle that raised over $200,000 in support of local charities

City of Moose Jaw employees donated over $2000.00 to local charities in December.

With the generosity of prizes from many city vendors and local businesses, city employees (City Hall, City Complex, Sportsplex, YaraCentre and Fire Department) held a December raffle. The raffle generated over $2000.00, which was used to adopt two families via the Salvation Army’s Adopt A Family program.

In addition, cash donations will be made to the following non-profit organizations:

  • Transition House
  • Riverside Mission
  • SCRAPS
  • Moose Jaw Families For Change
  • Humane Society
  • Hunger In Moose Jaw.
