Most of us are looking forward to 2021, with the hope that it will be better than 2020.

A recent survey from the non-profit Angus Reid Institute shows that many Canadians are anxiously awaiting for the end of the pandemic and a return to normalcy.

The three things that Canadians are looking forward to the most include going about their daily routing without worrying about the virus (44 per cent), the return of physical contact such as hugs, pecks on the cheek, and handshakes (43 per cent), and international travel (42 per cent).

Other notable results include a desire to eat in restaurants (32 per cent), meeting with people you haven’t been able to see in a long time (24 per cent), travelling across the country (20 per cent), and going to concerts (13 per cent).

In Saskatchewan, 19 per cent of respondents are looking forward to attending live sporting events. That is the highest percentage among the provinces.
