Calgary police arrest man connected to robbery in Moose Jaw

The accused, Yosief Hagos, has been remanded into custody and is expected to appear in Moose Jaw Provincial Court the week of May 9.

After investigating a robbery that occurred on South Hill in early April, the Moose Jaw Police Service has arrested one of the two individuals allegedly connected to the incident.

Based on their sleuthing, police say one of the suspects was thought to be in Alberta, so they issued a Canada-wide warrant for his arrest. Police in Calgary then arrested the man on May 3 without incident. 

The accused, Yosief Hagos, has been remanded into custody and is expected to appear in Moose Jaw Provincial Court the week of May 9.

Police are continuing to investigate the April 13 robbery that occurred at a business in the 300 block of Fourth Avenue Southwest and are attempting to identify the other suspect. The Moose Jaw Police Service is asking anyone with information to call 306-694-7600.
