Police hunting for suspects involved in armed robbery on South Hill

The Moose Jaw Police Service is hunting for two suspects involved in an armed robbery at a business on the 300 block of Fourth Avenue Southwest.

Police responded to an incident at 10:43 a.m. on April 13 after an employee called to say there had been a robbery involving a gun. Officers, including the K-9 unit, attended to the area but determined the suspects had fled in a vehicle.

The investigation has determined that two suspects left the scene after demanding and obtaining a quantity of cash and narcotics while threatening staff with a handgun. The suspects were wearing medical masks and black clothing while they fled the scene in what police believe was a black, four-door Hyundai Sonata.

Police continue to investigate the situation and ask anyone with information to contact them at 306-694-7600. People can also contribute information anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or by using the P3Tips app for smartphones.

The Moose Jaw Police Service reminds residents not to approach the suspects if identified and to call police immediately if located.
