Building permit values at July 31 for Moose Jaw were around 15 per cent of last year’s amount.
City hall issued 87 permits worth $13.54 million in July. Last year with the Great Plains Power station building permits were worth $76.7 million.
During this July, one permit was issued for a single family dwelling compared with four in 2022.
July 2023 permits of $488,000 compared with $3.6 million in 2022.
Only four single-family dwelling permits worth $1.23 million have been recorded this year compared with 20 worth $7.88 million last year by July 31.
One demolition permit was issued last month.
