The corner of Fairford Street West and Fifth Avenue West is partially closed after a two-vehicle collision occurred this morning just after 8:30 a.m.

On scene are one fire truck, one ambulance, two police cars and two tow trucks. Involved in the collision are a black/navy blue van and a grey Dodge Charger; the van's front appears to have taken the worst of the collision, while the front right side of the Charger is also damaged but not as heavily.

According to the Moose Jaw Police Service, EMS took one person to hospital with minor injuries; the collision caused $25,000 in damages; and police laid two charges, including proceeding from a stop sign before safe to do so and failing to have a clear view of the front and sides of the vehicle.

Basically, one motorist failed to scrape the side windows of the Dodge Charger, which caused the collision.
