City council had a lengthy discussion during its May 24 meeting about handling parking on narrow streets in the community before referring the matter to city administration for more information.

Several homeowners from the 1000 and 1100 blocks of Second Avenue Northwest spoke during the May 24 regular city council meeting about the current parking arrangements on those streets.

The Moose Jaw Public Library (MJPL) Summer Reading Club begins June 15 and runs until August 31 and includes reading challenges for every age group. The Adult Summer Reading Club encourages participants to explore the library, the city, and the province.
