9th Avenue NW closure planned from Thatcher Drive to Spring Creek

Closure will be in place until Sept. 5.

MOOSE JAW — The City of Moose Jaw advises of a temporary closure for roadwork on 9th Avenue NW starting on Monday, Aug. 25.

From Aug. 25 to Sept. 5, the city’s contractor will be undertaking work on 9th Avenue NW between Thatcher Drive and Spring Creek as part of the 2025 Paved Roadways and Sidewalks Project. Intersection access will be as follows:

  • Thatcher Drive – Open to east, west, and north
  • Normandy Drive – Closed at 9th Avenue NW
  • Simcoe Street – Open to west and south

For the duration of roadwork, transit stops will be closed at Normandy Drive & General Crescent and Normandy Drive and Marshal Crescent. Passengers are directed to use the stop at Normandy Drive and 11th Avenue NW to access Route 2 - Sunningdale.
