Joe Couch, a 30-year-old Australian punter, spent 2024 on the practice roster with the Riders.

Nicario Harper, an American defensive back, was signed as a free agent by Saskatchewan in November 2024.

The Roughriders signed American receiver Ty James in March after he attended a workout with the Minnesota Vikings.

American Justin Jefferson is a defensive lineman involved in a scuffle on day three of training camp. He signed with the Roughriders just before training camp after spending the last four seasons at Eastern Michigan.

Leon Jones was added by the Riders in March prior to training camp. The American DB had been with the Chicago Bears after going undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Khalan Laborn is a 25-year-old running back who the Roughriders signed in the offseason after playing six games with the Ottawa Redblacks in 2024.

Canadian offensive lineman Noah Zerr, who is from Langenburg, SK has played in 17 games over three CFL seasons with B.C., Hamilton and the Roughriders.
