Well below normal spring runoff is forecast for Moose Jaw and an area north of the city.

The region extending from Moose Jaw to Sceptre to Outlook over to Watrous and south to Lumsden will experience well below normal runoff, according to the Saskatchewan Water Security Agency.

The rest of southwestern and south-central Saskatchewan will see below normal runoff, except for a southwestern triangle from Coronach to Cypress Hills Provincial Park where near normal runoff will occur.

Near normal runoff is expected in the central areas with above normal runoff west of Prince Albert to Meadow Lake and Lloydminster.

Water supplies from major reservoirs are expected to be sufficient for the year.
