Saskatoon bus driver charged after hit and run that sent pedestrian to hospital

SASKATOON — A Saskatoon transit bus driver has been charged after a hit and run sent a pedestrian to hospital. Police say a 49-year-old man was struck by a bus in the city's southeast in May. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

SASKATOON — A Saskatoon transit bus driver has been charged after a hit and run sent a pedestrian to hospital.

Police say a 49-year-old man was struck by a bus in the city's southeast in May.

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The 42-year-old driver has been charged with failing to stop after an accident.

The city says he no longer works for Saskatoon Transit.

Police were not able to provide an update on the condition of the pedestrian.
