Annabel Catherine (Glassford) Watson
July 6, 1934 – July 4, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Annabel Catherine Watson. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Muriel and Ross Glassford, and by her husband, Frank Watson.
Annabel is lovingly remembered by her daughter Robyn Watson and granddaughter Annika Lynn Bella Flegel, as well as her stepdaughter Ethel Fryklund and family. She also leaves behind her dear brother, Robert Glassford, and his wife Kathy of Oshawa, Ontario, along with her cherished cousins Judy and Audrey, also of Ontario.
Annabel lived her life with quiet strength, warmth, and kindness. In keeping with her wishes, she departed this world gently and has requested a peaceful and private farewell. There will be no formal service or burial at this time, in honor of her desire for simplicity and serenity.
We are deeply grateful to the staff of Pioneer Lodge, particularly those on Prairie View, the Recreation team, and Dr. King, for their exceptional care, compassion, and dedication. Your loving support made Annabel’s final years truly meaningful and memorable. We also appreciate the care provided by the team at Marcie’s Private Care Home, who cared for my mother during her first care home experience.
