WILLIS ARNOLD WARNER
DEC 6, 1932 -May 18, 2020

As a family, we are saddened to announce the passing of Willis Arnold Warner on May 18, 2020. In the same breath we are comforted to know he is now rejoicing in the presence of The Lord.  His accomplishments were many. He had a very successful 31-year long career, rising to Assistant Vice President of Operator Services for SaskTel before retiring. His entrepreneurship led him into many ventures fueled by the vision of improving people’s lives. Willis was a leader. He led with integrity, compassion, and love. Most importantly, he led by example. He was a man of great faith. He had a servants’ heart, and a heart for evangelism. Through his service with the Gideon Bible Society, Evangelism Explosion and Alpha his desire was to reach as many people as possible with the Lord. He served in many capacities within his local church over the years and was dedicated in every position held. His greatest gift to us is his family’s Christian heritage and his legacy lives on. Willis loved to sing. We can only imagine the joy as he met his Lord and Savior singing, “Hallelujah, I’m home”! Willis leaves behind to celebrate his life; his wife of 35 years, Janet, whom he cherished; sons, Garry (Carolynne), Daryl (Brenda) both of Strasbourg, SK.; daughter, Charlene Perry (Peter) of Shediac, NB;  grandchildren; Kristalynne Ganske (Darren), Theresa Stewart (Gavin), Naomi Picard (Adriel), Christopher (Jody), Justin, Chantal Cassie (Jean-Luc), Rachelle Richard; great grandchildren Evan, Brianna, Jaxen, Haydn, Addyson, Hudson, Serayla, Kaylee, Galaxy, Malec and Elodie. He is also survived by his brother Dale (Leona) of Regina and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Cyril and Mary Warner; mother of his children and first wife, Orchid Warner and infant daughter Melody. The family is forever grateful for the wonderful care givers who provided excellent care and support. A Virtual Celebration of Willis’ life will be announced in the coming days. For those so wishing memorial donations may be made to the Gideons International, PO Box 3619 Station Main, Guelph, ON N1H 9Z9 or online at www.gideons.ca.
