Walsh, Kevin Michael
It is with great sadness that the family of Kevin Michael Walsh announces his passing on Sep 26, 2023, at the age of 72 years.
Kevin was born in Regina, SK to Ron and Helen Walsh. He was raised in Moose Jaw most of his life. Kevin lived a quiet life, he had few friends but the ones he did have meant a lot to him. Kevin was a huge sports fan, being the number one fan of the Chicago Black Hawks and Saskatchewan Rough Riders. Kevin was born with a rider football in his hands. He was also a huge fan of photography and loved taking pictures of wildlife and the many planes that flew by his 15th story window where he could get some beautiful views. His new passion was working on model airplanes. Kevin spent many hours down at the legion playing darts with the members.
He was greatly loved by his nieces and nephews. Kevin was predeceased by his grandparents, Ernie & Effie (Spencer) Henderson, Father Ron Walsh and Mother Helen (Henderson) Walsh and brother Shawn Walsh.
Kevin will be sadly missed by his sister Colleen (Dan) Hoppenreys, niece Celina, nephews Dana (Janice) Hoppenreys and Duane (Jess) Hoppenreys, great nieces Chloe, Olivia and Eden and great nephews Daxton and Dylan.
A Celebration of Kevin’s life will take place on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 1:30PM at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel, 474 Hochelaga St W., Moose Jaw, SK. Pastor Doug Shepherd will officiate. A private family interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery.
