Margaret Marie Taylor 

June 18, 1926 – November 13, 2019

Margaret passed away peacefully with family by her side Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at the age of 93. She was born in Loreburn, Saskatchewan however most of her life was spent in the Keeler area. Margaret attended University at the University of Saskatchewan, where she took Chemical Engineering. She met Jack Taylor in Keeler and they were married in 1948. They lived at the farm their whole lives where they raised their three children. Margaret was active with Girl Guides and the Qu’Appelle Valley Rehabilitation Board. She was an avid gardener, and she loved children, especially her grandchildren, with whom she spent many hours reading. She instilled a love of reading, learning, and curiosity about the world around her in everyone she spent time with. She always asked “Why?” She was predeceased by her parents, Jean and Peter Finnestad; her husband, Jack Taylor; and her sister Ona Faye (Fred) Thomas. Margaret is survived by her brother Ronald (Arlene) Finnestad, her children; Kathleen (David) Ewen, Jerry (Valerie) Taylor, and Darlene Carson; her grandchildren, Heather (Graham) Larson, Tami (Ron) Lablanc, Lisa (Ray) Ma, Aaron Weist, Joel (Katie) Taylor, Brett (Bob) Taylor, Megan (Evan) Peterson, Jacquelyn (Taylor) Carson, Jenna Carson, and Travis (Kellie) Carson, her great-grandchildren; Liam Ma, Jack Ma, Aaryana Weist, Elliot Peterson, Natalie Carson, and Thea Carson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  A Private Family Service will take place at a later date. Memorial Donations may be made to the Regency Hospital Long Term Care, or to Iver Main Place in Central Butte. In living memory of Margaret, a memorial planting will be made by Jones-Parkview Funeral Services.
