Born March 12, 1934 in Kipp Alberta, Bill moved to Edgewood, BC at the age of four. He was educated there and lived and worked on the farm. Later he worked for B.C. Hydro; Department of Highways and Department of Forest Service, until joining the Royal Canadian Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. He served from 1957 to 1987, retiring as Master Warrant Officer. Bill served at Comox B.C; North Bay, Ontario; Cold Lake, Alberta and Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Retiring from the military, Bill continued to live in Moose Jaw. Bill developed many life-long friendships from his work, church, and activities. He enjoyed watching all his grandchildren in all their activities. He enjoyed carpentry and as a result he built three homes, using his endless energy, strength, and huge interest in everything. He liked mechanics and working in his yard, he could fix everything. He was generous with his time, helping family, friends, and strangers. He was always on call. He taught his children to be reliable, hardworking, and caring people just as he was.
