Shirley Anne Schmaltz, aged 71 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Saturday, February 5th, 2022. Shirley was born in Moose Jaw and worked as a waitress and later at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital in the janitorial department. She married Archie Schmaltz on November 9th, 2002.
Shirley loved playing games and bingo, having fun with her family, and travelling and going on many road trips.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Dan and John Mattie; sister, Kathy Bacon; parents, John Mattie and Alice Medlock; and son-in-law, Irvine Giesbrecht. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Archie; daughter, Avree Giesbrecht; son, Kevin Schmaltz (Lisa Jerratt); and grandchildren: Trinity, Alyah, Kyahlan, Shyler, and Seth.
In keeping with Shirley’s wishes, a Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
