It is with great sadness that the family of Susan Schimpf-Stubner, Nee: Funk, announce her passing. Susan was predeceased by her parents, John and Katherine Funk, her siblings, Mary (her twin sister), Helen, Henry, Elizabeth and Eddie. The siblings she leaves behind are Ruth, Dora, Danny, Dave and Delmer. Susan was a resident of Providence Place in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. She was born on August 15, 1929, and was raised on a homestead near Carrot River, Saskatchewan. Susan's ex-husband Carl Schimpf predeceased her on May 9, 1989, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Together they had two daughters, Dianne Susan Campbell-VanOs and Norma Lou Johnson. Susan's grandchildren are Dean Schimpf (deceased), Darrin Campbell, Pam Nash (Howard), Aliesha Skiftun (Lee), her great-grandchildren are Tyler Skiftun (Nina), Tori Skiftun, Owen Nash and Evan Nash. Susan also leaves behind her longtime friend, Ruby Brown. She will be missed by all who knew her. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 1:00PM at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel, 474 Hochelaga St W., Moose Jaw. Della Ferguson will officiate. In living memory of Susan, a memorial planting will be made by W.J. Jones & Son Ltd.
