RUSSELL
Gerard “Gerry” Anthony Russell, aged 86 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Tuesday, March 16th, 2021. Gerry was born on August 7th, 1934 in Moose Jaw and was a long term resident of Valley View Centre, and more recently lived at Eden Care Home on Brigham Road. Gerry had a long and happy life, and the family would like to express gratitude to all of the people in his life who made his life so full. He loved all sports but his two favourite teams were the Moose Jaw Warriors hockey team and the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Gerry was fortunate enough to attend many Warrior games and the odd Rider game, which he thoroughly enjoyed.
He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Frances; brother, Jack (Shirley); and brother-in-law, Chuck Hanson. Gerry will be lovingly remembered by the Russell, Hanson and Gibson families.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Gerry’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
