Gerald Rosvold age 88 passed away December 27, 2021 at Providence Place, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
Gerald was born to Martha and John Rosvold on July 10, 1933 at Viceroy, Sask. He farmed with his father until he met the love of his life, Loretta Sauder from Hodgeville. They were married June 30, 1962. They took over the family farm and his parents moved to Bengough.
Two sons were born, Ricky in 1964 and Garth in 1966. Gerald continued to farm with the help of his sons until 2005 when his health began to fail. Gerald and Loretta moved to Moose Jaw.
Rick married Sherry Peterson. They took over the family farm. Garth married Dena Wilson and live in Creston, BC and came to help farm whenever possible.
Gerald enjoyed being with his 3 grandsons, Steven, Reagan and Jaren. He loved to see all 6 great grandchildren, Aubrey, Alyza, Amilya, Carter, Emily and Ryder.
Gerald and Loretta were to celebrate their 60th year of marriage in 2022. Gerald was the youngest of 8 children. He was predeceased by his parents: 2 brothers Kenneth and Leslie and 5 sisters, Doris, Lily, Claire, Nola and Carmel.
Gerald was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He devoted his life to helping others learn about the marvelous promises contained in the Bible, one of those being the hope of resurrection to an earth restored to paradise.
A virtual memorial will be held.
