It is with great sadness that the family of Lois Hansena Pyett (née: Moen) announce her peaceful passing on Tuesday, June 7th, 2022 at the age of 88 years.
Lois was born in Swift Current, SK on April 12th, 1934 to Eva and Ole Moen. She was raised on the family farm near Stewart Valley, SK.
Lois will be loving remembered by her husband of 66 years, William (Bill); children: Lana (Trent) Olson, Lynn (Steve) Mayer, and Lyle (Rhonda) Pyett; grandchildren: Shaunna (Rick) Kullman, Kyla (Jonathan) Thomason, Logan (Amy) Pyett, David (Jordanna) Olson, Paige (Nolan) Sandvold, Cobi (Dyllan) Mayer, Chance Mayer (deceased), and Rance Mayer; as well as eight great-grandchildren.
Lois enjoyed time with family and friends, especially her two sisters Liane and Phyllis. She loved making cookies for her grandchildren, reading, golfing, playing cards, bowling and travel.
Lois and Bill were married November 11th, 1955 in Swift Current where all three children were born. They moved a number of times, spending the last twenty five years at Thomson Lake, SK. Lois made numerous life-long friends in each community they were a part of. She was a natural homemaker. Over the years, Lois worked as a hairdresser out of her home, as well as working retail at drugstores in Lafleche, SK and Regina, SK.
Lois will be forever in our hearts!!
