Eleanor Dorothea Prowse (Scheidt)
Went to be with her Lord March 22, 2022, 6 weeks before her 100th Birthday. Eleanor was the loving wife of William Prowse who passed before her. She is predeceased by her mother and father, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and son Alex Prowse. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Mary Ann Bergen (Jacob), Peggy Page (Bob) and daughter-in-law Linda Prowse. Loving Grandma of 9 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was born and raised in Luseland, Sask. After graduation she moved to Saskatoon where she graduated from Singer Sewing and then proceeded to teach at Singer Sewing in North Battleford. A few years later she moved to Moose Jaw to manage Sally Shop for 25 years. In retirement she volunteered at the gift shop at the Union Hospital. She loved doing many crafts, enjoyed gardening, and relaxing at Buffalo Lake. She also enjoyed travelling and cruises with her husband Bill. A member of Saint Andrew's United Church for sixty-one years. Eleanor was a life member of Beta-Sigma Phi Moose Jaw. An interment of ashes at graveside service to be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Canadian Liver Foundation. A huge thank you to the loving staff at Providence Place (St. Anthony wing).
