Christian Michael Pitzel
It is with great sadness we share the news of the sudden passing of our beloved son Christian Michael Pitzel on April 30, 2020 at the age of 40. Chris was born Sept 12, 1979 in Moose Jaw and attended St. Agnes School and Central Collegiate. He convocated from the University of Saskatchewan with a dual degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He was a whiz at computers early in his education and excelled at fixing up his 1992 Olds Cutlass doing all the self-taught automotive repairs. Chris had many talents he shared with family and friends. Chris was especially known to be kind-hearted and caring with his elderly grandmother before her passing. Cycling became a daily passion for him in the summer around Moose Jaw and at Waskesiu Lake. Predeceased by his grandparents, Mary and George Gedir, Ray and Alvina Pitzel. He will be mourned by his parents Michael and Myrna, step-parent William Bazylewski as well as his sister Jennifer Pitzel (Jake), step-sister Brenda Bazylewski and step-brother Ryan Bazylewski (Jolene), and Ryan’s children Erika and Michael as well as numerous friends and family. Chris had a special love for our cat Whiskers, please donate to the Moose Jaw Humane Society, 1755 Stadacona St W, Moose Jaw, SK, S6H 7K7. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Moose Jaw and Regina. Interment will take place in Humboldt, SK.
