Josy Christine Hague Pierce

Josy Pierce passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021, in Moose Jaw, SK at the age of 29. She was predeceased by her father Doug Hague, her grandparents Marlin Martinson, Frank Hague, and Ken and Bertha Pierce, her auntie Linda Pierce, uncles Bob Pierce, Dave Pierce and Dan Pierce and by her cousin Cody Lee Pierce. Left to mourn her loss are her parents Mike and Jennifer Pierce, her brother Brian (Melissa) Pierce and their son Mason, her brother Cogan (Crystal) Pierce and their daughter Koda, her grandmother Velma Martinson and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Josy was born in Lloydminster, SK on May 8, 1992, but grew up in Moose Jaw attending Palliser school and then Riverview Collegiate. She was employed at Diversified Services ever since high school. She loved her job there, doing a little bit of everything – sewing, laundry, recycling and of course crafts. She did crafts at work and at home and kept all of her treasures. Diversified was a second family for her, she was always happy to go to work. If Josy liked you, you would have the privilege of being called “Good Friend”. Josy really liked swimming and spending time at the lake with family. She also had fun bowling. Her dog Buddy was her pal and she missed him dearly when he passed away last summer. At home Josy was a busy bee, helping out with dishes and cleaning and especially laundry. Her favourite colour was pink and more often than not you would see her in a pink shirt. Josy loved animals so as an expression of sympathy, those so wishing may make a memorial donation to Free to Be Me Animal Sanctuary, PO Box 1685, Moose Jaw SK, S6H 7K7. She was a gentle, innocent soul and will be dearly missed by all who knew her and shared in her life.

To lose someone so special is really hard to bear.
It hardly seems believable that you're no longer there.
You left us far too early, before your time it seems.
And now you'll never have the chance to fulfill all those dreams.
However hard it is though, we'll take comfort in the thought
Of all the memories we have, and the happiness you brought.
You always lived life to the full and ours won't be the same.
Until the day when we can see your smiling face again.

In living memory of Josy a memorial planting will be made by Jones-Parkview Funeral Services. Please sign the memorial register at website: www.jonesparkview.com (Obituaries). Kelly Scott, Funeral Director.
