On April 7th, 2023, Good Friday, Mitchell George Carl Osiowy passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at age 46. Mitch was born on August 28th, 1976, in Grande Cache, Alberta and grew up in Alberta.

He was a loving and devoted father, a committed Christian, and a talented tradesman. Mitch was a natural leader in every community he served within. One of his life-long dreams was to become a minister, so when not working as a welder, Mitch attended classes at Briercrest College and Seminary to reach that goal. Mitch ministered to many as he was forever reaching out a helping hand with an open heart to anyone in need-whether he knew them well or not.

Mitch loved to laugh and play, was incredibly giving and non-judgmental, and some of his favourite times were spent "hanging out" and having a good time with his family. He was spontaneous, generous, fun, hilarious, tender, playful, hugely loving, compassionate, and will be incredibly missed. Despite facing significant challenges throughout his life, Mitch did his utmost to maintain a spirit of love, resilience, and kindness.

Mitch is survived by his four beautiful, strong, and kind children who he was extremely proud of: Noah-Mitchell Osiowy, Kcena-Rae Osiowy, David-Anthony Osiowy, and Joseph-Alexander Osiowy; his seven siblings: Mike Kokoski, Steve Osiowy, Aaron Osiowy, Lara Osiowy, Gerri Isaac, Montana Halliday, and Alexandra Osiowy; his father Bruce Osiowy; and his numerous, cherished nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was predeceased by his beloved mother Jacquline Theresa Virtue.

There will be a celebration of life on Sunday, April 23rd, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. at the Church at Briercrest College in Caronport, Saskatchewan.
