ROBERT OLE OLAFSON
May 2, 1960 – January 16, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob on January 16, 2022. Bob was very a hardworking, kind-hearted, loving, and caring man.

Bob was born May 2, 1960, in Moose Jaw, SK.  At the age of 18 Bob received his class 1A license and he began his career driving truck down the open highways, which he did with pride for 43 years, his last being with Gibson International.

In Bob’s spare time he enjoyed spending time at his campsite at Lake Diefenbaker, boating, fishing, and spending time with friends and family around the campfire.

Bob will be sadly missed by his common law wife Cheryl Hudson; son Cole Olson-Olafson (Andrea); stepson Blair Hudson (Kayla and son Trip and Lane) also left to mourn are numerous family members and countless friends.

The Trucker’s Last Ride
He traveled the roads
In years gone past
A life he chose and
Hoped it would last.

Driving all night
From state to state
Trying to get home
And arriving so late.

He parked his truck now
His engine has stopped
And those who love him
Their hearts have dropped.

He traveled the country
With a smile of great pride
Now he drives the streets of Heaven
On the trucker’s last ride.

“MAY GOD RIDE WITH YOU…10-4 AND GOODBYE
