Today we honour the life and times of Cindy Ann Newsham. Born October 25, 1967, and left us on March 15, 2022. She was predeceased by her father, Bob Newsham; uncle, Stan Newsham; brother, Ronnie Newsham; niece, Tristin Newsham; and many more family members. She will be remembered and so deeply missed by her children and grandchildren; Aaron Rider (Jodi Skorlatowski), Owen, Aaron Jr., Draeden and Brooklyn Rider; Trisha Rider (Jason Shiloff), Harper Rider; Brandon Newsham (Sam Grad); Miles Newsham; her mother, Roberta Newsham; her aunt Beulah Newsham (Archie Bell); brothers, Brian (Lori) Newsham; Dale (Susan) Newsham; Danny (Elena) Newsham; sisters Barb Newsham (Paul Grasdal); Brenda Newsham (Kelly Sveum); and their families and many nieces and nephews.
The things she loved most in this world were her children, grandchildren, and all her adopted children throughout the years. She will always be remembered for giving people a home and/or a shoulder, when they had nothing and no one else. She could be terrifying at times, but her heart of gold made up for it.
Her life passions included the outdoors (camping, her gardens); she loved when we had big family gatherings, she loved her scratch tickets, and she was kick ass at playing bingo!
To honor Cindy's wish, there will not be a funeral service. The family will have a graveside service in Mortlach, at a later date for all those who wish to attend, say their final goodbyes and celebrate in true Cindy style.
