Katherine Leslie Mowers passed away on December 19th, 2023, at the age of 26.
Katherine was born in Regina, Saskatchewan. She grew up on an acreage near Stoney Beach, and spent much of her childhood and adolescence living in Moose Jaw and Regina. She attended Briercrest Christian Academy in Caronport for high school. Katherine then received a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Applied Science at McGill University.
Katherine is described by her loved ones as being caring, funny, loving, and protective. She was an avid reader and loved animals, especially Catalina her cat. Katherine found joy in the ocean, music, and kayaking.
Katherine is mourned by her parents Faye Heinze and Frank Mowers (Debbie), her sisters Heather Mowers and Tanya Mowers (Rob Hunt), her grandparents Les and Janet Ramsey, as well as by extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents Doreen and Thomas Mowers.
A memorial will be held on January 13th at the Church of God campus (401 Trinity Lane, Moose Jaw, SK) at 1:00PM, with Pastor Larry Hasmatali officiating.
