MOSSAUER
Leslie Wayne Mossauer, aged 73 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Friday, April 2nd, 2021. Les started working with his father at the age of 12 years sharpening discs. He eventually opened Mossauer’s Disc Sharpening in 1972 and it operated until 2011, obtaining a total of 51 years in the disc sharpening business. Les “Donald Duck” also worked for the City of Moose Jaw as a Transit Bus Driver for 28 years. He loved being with people and making them smile. Les also enjoyed welding, video-taping, was an avid stamp collector and belonged to the Moose Jaw Stamp Club.
He was predeceased by his father, John; mother, Evelyn; and son, Chris. Les will be sadly missed by his wife of 49 years, Sharon Mossauer; daughter, Angela (Tom); daughter-in-law, Heather; granddaughters, Madison and Eliana; and grandsons: Joseph, Riley and August.
A Private Family Celebration of Les’ Life will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined.
