MOERKERK
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucille Moerkerk, our mother, sister, grandma and friend, on Saturday, April 24th, 2021. Lucille was born on September 18th, 1927 to Fred and Sara Johnson. She lived on the family farm near Mawer, SK.
She was predeceased by her husband, Herman Moerkerk; parents, Fred and Sara; son-in-law, Reg Reimche; brothers, Earl (Orma) and Henry (Daphne); and sisters: Katherine (Warren), Wilma (Sam) and Helen (Dyke). Lucille is survived by her daughters, Dorothy and Pat (Rob); son, Fred (Carolyn); grandchildren: Lyndley, Aidan and Sawyer; sister, Shirley (Ray); as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ross Payant Nursing home in Assiniboia, SK for the most wonderful care they gave our mother. A Private Family Service will be held at Rosedale Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Lucille’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7.
