It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Gordon David Mann aged 53 years of Uren, SK, on Wednesday, November 29th, 2023. Gordon was born on September 6th, 1970 and spent his life in Uren, SK. He was the third born to James and Velma Mann. At an early age, Gordon enjoyed farming and taking care of animals. He received his education at Chaplin School. As his siblings grew up and found their own paths in life, Gordon remained on the family farm taking care of the daily duties. Whether he was out on the tractor seeding, or out in the pens with the livestock, Gordon was there, rain or shine. He enjoyed mechanics and would often be found with a tool in his hand and under the hood of a truck. If not tinkering around the farm, he could be found with Ron Lasota, who was like a brother to Gordon.

He was predeceased by his father, James Mann; brother, Lance Mann; and uncles: Raymond Mann, Delmar and Leo Boyne. Gordon is survived by his mother, Velma Mann; sister, Diane Hanson (Darrell); brother, Alin Mann (Lisa); nieces, Lisa Hanson and family, and Ella Mann; nephews, Curtis (Charla) Hanson and family, and Adam Hanson.

A Celebration of Gordon’s Life and interment will be held in Morse, SK at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Gordon’s name may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, 250 Dundas St W, Suite 500, Toronto, ON M5T 2Z5 or a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Andrew Pratt, Funeral Director 306-693-4550 www.moosejawfuneralhome.com
