We are sad to announce the passing of Heather Gail Maitland of Moose Jaw, SK, at the age of 56 on March 7, 2024.
Heather passed away surrounded by her loved ones after a brief battle with cancer. Her bright, beautiful smile touched so many and will be missed by all who knew her.
She worked as an educational assistant for Prairie South School Division and was such a positive influence in so many children’s lives. Heather’s greatest passions included her family, friends, the children she worked with at the schools, and spending time at Thomson Lake.
Heather is predeceased by her parents Isabel and Harold Casement. She is survived by her husband Ken Maitland, son Callum Maitland, brothers Rob (Joanne) Casement, Brent (Bridget) Casement, her extended family Kristi (Brian) Grund, Dacy (Alec) Coates, Abby Grund and Jenna Grund.
A Memorial Service will be held at Thomson Lake, in August. Further details to be announced.
