MACDIARMID, Wilma Ruth
Wilma Ruth Macdiarmid passed away on June 24, 2020 in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. Ruth was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and attended Alexandra, King George, Central Collegiate and Moose Jaw Business College. She worked at Pendlebury Photography Studio, Dash Leather Goods and for 33 years at the office of Dr. Yvonne M. Pearson. Ruth was predeceased by her parents, Dorothy & Victor Elliott, a sister in infancy, brother Donald and husband Lorne. She is survived by her daughter, Laura Jean (Doug) Quist, granddaughters Alyssa (Ryley) Glessing, Lauren (Matthew) Mackeracher and Naomi, one great-grandaughter Callie Jean, numerous nieces, nephews and longtime friend, Hilda Davies. A Private Family Service will take place. Rev. Dr. Dean Pinter will officiate. Interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations made in Ruth’s memory to CNIB would be appreciated by the family. In living memory of Ruth, Jones-Parkview Funeral Services will make a memorial planting.
