With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of father, Trent James Lisik, age 55. He will be truly missed for his willingness to help and remembered for the sincere love of all his family and friends. Trent passed away peacefully in his sleep at home beside his beloved dog, Chevelle. Trent was born in Regina, SK, on January 26, 1967, moving to Moose Jaw, SK, with his family at age 3. He began his elementary years at Ross School and completed his education by graduating from Albert A. E. Peacock Collegiate in 1986.
In his early years, he enjoyed bowling and playing ball for the Athletics ball team. In his teenage years, he joined the Navy League which then took his interests towards the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets. He spent every summer traveling to different Cadet camps in the Western Provinces, where he won best dressed cadet on many occasions. In his adult years, Trent became a father and was a husband for thirteen long years. Trent traded his summers with the Cadets to take his young family camping, go for long bike rides/walks, and frequenting many playgrounds. His kids were his absolute pride and joy. Trent was first employed at Osbourne Drycleaners before moving to Prairie South School Division, beginning his career as a Custodial Engineer. He was cherished for bringing fun and happiness to the halls of every school he went to. In more recent years, you could find Trent at a few of his favourite places, such as tinkering on vehicles hanging out with his friends at KB Custom Toyz; or fishing for Walleye with his best friend, Steven (Sheena) at Buffalo Pound; or cheering for Payson and Aysa at hockey; or getting All Day Breakfast with the lovely ladies at Carol’s Catering.
