Camping remained an important and enjoyable part of Gerrit’s life which he loved to share with family and friends, but especially his daughters Danica and Zoe. Family time with his brothers was important with BBQ outings of all sorts which brough them together. He loved birthdays and Christmas just like his mom. As a duck takes to water, Gerrit took to boilermaking with ease, he loved his BM brothers. Often, they would flavorwave or BBQ meals to cap of the workday with a few beers and some tunes. His love for music was natural for Gerrit, with grandpa and dad being guitar players, Gerrit was soon to follow. In 1984, the Lepine family moved to Moose Jaw.
