LECLERC
In the early morning hours of Thursday, March 5th, 2020, after a long hard-fought battle with cancer, our beloved husband, father and brother Edward Lauren Leclerc (aka: Eddie, Sanchez), aged 44 years of Moose Jaw, SK started his journey home. Eddie was born on March 31st, 1975 in Winnipeg, MB. Though his time with us was too short, he taught us so much about courage, love, laughter, and family. We will hold dear to us his love of music and the parts of himself he shared through the songs he wrote. He was predeceased by his daughter, Hannah; grandparents, Cecile and Adlard Leclerc, and Alfred and Rose Demontigny; parents, Louis and Angela; God-parents, Doris and Peter; as well as numerous aunts and uncles, and cousin Ronnie whom he loved like a brother. Eddie is survived by his loving wife, April; children: Louis, Cheyenne, Monique, and Sadye (Chris); step-children: Samantha (Mark), Tristan, Shaylynne, and Kyle; 5 grandchildren; siblings: Jason (Helen), Rosaleen (Darren), Brian, and Treena; along with numerous nieces, nephews and 3 Godchildren. A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, March 12th, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. in Church of Our Lady, 566 Vaughan St, Moose Jaw, SK. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Eddie’s name be made to the Palliative Care Program c/o Moose Jaw Health Foundation, 55 Diefenbaker Drive, Moose Jaw, SK S6J 0C2. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550 www.moosejawfuneralhome.com
