Albert leaves behind his partner Elaine Koskie; children, Bernice Lamontagne, Karen (Sam) Kahut, Clifford (Allison) Lamontagne, Sharon (Richard) Hill, Paul (Lisa) Lamontagne, Trevor (Rennay) Lamontagne and Elaine's two daughters Charity Koskie and Sylvia (Trevor).
He was blessed with 18 grandchildren as well as 10 great-grandchildren.
Albert was born in Rockglen, Saskatchewan, to Paul and Val Lamontagne. He grew up on the family farm south of Lisieux, Saskatchewan. Albert worked for South Saskatchewan bus company for a few years then moved to Alberta, where he worked for Les Wigimeuer. He moved back to Saskatchewan, where he finished his career at Toyota in Moose Jaw before retirement. Albert loved spending time with family and friends, his door was always open no matter what time of day or night. Albert had one phrase that he always said Happy go Lucky & that he was.
A Graveside Service will be held on May 5, 2023, at 11:00 am at Sunset Cemetery. Please be at the front gates before 10:45am. A reception to follow at the Eagles Club, 561 Home St W, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 4X9. In Liu of Flowers, donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
