KRISTEN ASHLEY KILKENNY
September 25th, 1997 - April 3rd, 2022

It is with deep sadness the Kilkenny family announce the passing of Kristen Ashley Kilkenny. She passed away Sunday, April 3rd, 2022 at her home in Moose Jaw, SK with her dog by her side. Kristen was born September 25th, 1997 in Swift Current, SK. Kristen is survived by her parents, Mike and Kathy; brother, Cody; grandmother, Dorothy Kilkenny; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She attended high school in Swift Current and completed grade 12 in 2015 at the Swift Current Comprehensive High School. She was excited to move to Moose Jaw with her family and start a new chapter in her life. Kristen was an active person who loved sports from an early age. She enjoyed playing soccer, basketball, golf and hockey, and if she wasn’t playing, she would be in the stands cheering somebody else on. She enjoyed listening to music and spending time with the many friends she met along the way. She was a kind person, always quick to lend a hand, help or share a laugh with. She was loved by, and gave love to the many friends whose life she touched. Kristen had big dreams and had planned to pursue a career in environmental conservation. She will be dearly missed. 

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 12th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Jeremy McDonald will officiate and interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kristen’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7.
