Samuel Peter Hofer
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our son, brother and friend Samuel Peter Hofer “Sam” aged 55 years on June 22, 2020. Sam was predeceased by his mother Rachel. Sam is survived by his father Peter; brothers Peter, Paul, John, Jake; sister Rachel; and his two furry babies George and Missy. Sam enjoyed fishing, curling, golfing with his friends and gardening. He was also an avid Blue Jays fan and was ecstatic to see his team play live last year at Roger’s Centre. Sam was a very hard worker and dedicated to his job at Gibson Livestock for 29 years. He was well liked and made many friends in the cattle industry all across Canada and the USA. Sam was a good man with a kind heart and would help anyone in need. He was friendly to everyone, had a great sense of humor and loved joking around and would play the odd prank or two on the girls in the office. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Due to the current health situation, a private family service will be held. We would like to thank everyone for their kind words and support.
