Owen Edward Hicks
April 25, 1932 – March 15, 2021
Owen Edward Hicks went home to Heaven on March 15, 2021. Owen, affectionately known to most, as “Grandpa O”, passed away peacefully at Extendicare in Moose Jaw, just shy of his 89th birthday. Formerly of Edmonton Alberta, he was predeceased by the love of his life, Lorna MacLeod-Hicks, and her son Allan MacLeod. Owen is loved and survived by his family, Donna (Bill) Hobbs, Ron (Carole) MacLeod, Joan (David) Styles, and Maxine MacLeod. Six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive him. Special thank-you to all of the incredible staff of Extendicare that cared for and loved Owen. A private family funeral will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, a memorial donation may be made to a charity of your choice. In living memory of Owen, a memorial planting will be made by Jones-Parkview Funeral Services.
