The family of Don Gander of Moose Jaw Sask are sad to announce the news of his passing on December 2,2023.

Don was born in Calderbank, Sask, October 12,1938, to Reginald and Mavis Gander.

He was predeceased by his parents, Reginald and Mavis Gander, his loving wife Alice, his daughter Donna Gander (Knapper) and a son Arthur. He is survived by his son Albert. Don will be missed by his sister Peggy, and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and his son in law. He will also be missed by his many coffee friends and acquaintances.

Don enjoyed a full and varied life. His life was filled with his numerous business ventures, his last being D&A Trophy and Gifts. His interests included his long-lasting interest in the Moose Jaw Warriors hockey team and games, dancing, playing billiards, watching football (especially with his friend Cal Neff), and curling. He really enjoyed getting out on the open road with his friends or soloing on his motorcycle. (Especially the road trips to Chamberlain for ice cream.)

He loved visiting and meeting new people, no matter what the circumstance. He had a great sense of humour and always had a joke or a smile for his many friends, associates, or customers.

At Don's request there will be no public service.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Albert would like to thank everyone, neighbours and friends who helped Don.

In lieu of flowers a donation to one of the following would be greatly appreciated.
