With her beloved family by her side, Carol Faye Dyck (née: Ludke) completed her earthly journey and went HOME to her Saviour. Born July 19th, 1941, Carol transitioned to her eternal home on Thursday, August 31st, 2023.

Though Carol had several jobs throughout her life, including time at City Hospital in Saskatoon and Providence Hospital in Moose Jaw, the 27 years she served at Prince Arthur School was by far her favourite. Her service there was more of a “calling” than a job. She passionately cared for each student and staff member. She constantly referred to them as “my kids”. She always made sure their tummies were full and their fingers were warm. Carol lived her time at Prince Arthur with passion and purpose.

In addition to work Carol also served faithfully as Chairman of the Moose Jaw Christian Women’s Club, was actively involved in the ministry at Strasbourg Bible Camp, and served faithfully alongside her husband ministering both at Stadacona Gospel Chapel and as they travelled, as guest speaker at many bible camps across Saskatchewan, Alberta, and B.C.

Though work and service filled many hours of her days, absolutely nothing compared to the pride she had for her family. They were her life and undoubtedly there was never a conversation in which she wasn’t boasting about one of them.

She was predeceased by her parents, Carl and Phyllis Ludke; and brother, Bob Ludke. Carol leaves to mourn, the family she so dearly loved: her husband of 63 years, Marv Dyck; children: Terry and Diane Dyck, Scott and Bonnie Dyck, and Corrie Lewis; grandchildren: David and Whitney Dyck, Joshua and Megan Dyck, Olivia and Ben Richardson, Jillian and Jesse Zak, Courtney and Taylor Klassen, and Taylor Lewis; great-grandchildren: Jameson, Lyndon, Casey, Hannah, Sawyer, Charlie, Theo, and Marshall; sister, Peggy Watts; as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and relatives she loved dearly.

Anyone who knew Carol knew she experienced the reality of physical pain. She struggled hard and fought the good fight. She also lived a life that was unapologetic about her faith in Jesus. It brings the family peace to know her pain is now gone, and she is in the arms of Jesus.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 9th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Moose Jaw Church of God South Hill Campus, 401 Trinity Lane, Moose Jaw, SK. In lieu of flowers donations in Carol’s name may be made to Joe’s Place, 402 Main St N, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 3K2. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550 www.moosejawfuneralhome.com
