DIGNAN

Kay Dignan of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on August, 13th, 2021 at 96 years of age. Kay was born on the family farm at Chamberlain and received her education at Shephard School. She married Perry Dignan on April 2nd, 1953 and together they raised one son, Glen. They farmed in the Marquis district until they retired to Moose Jaw where she resided until her passing. Kay enjoyed bowling, curling and family get togethers. She was predeceased by her parents, Bart and Barbara Bitz; her husband, Perry; her brothers: Phil (Wilhelmina), Lloyd (Ethel), John and Nick; her sisters: Elizabeth Bitz, Anne (Alex) Gottselig, Barbara (George) Crush and Magdelina (Bob) Watson. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Glen and numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 19th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Cheryl Thul will officiate. Those not able to attend are invited to watch the live service virtually by going to www.moosejawfuneralhome.com/webcast/. The family would like to thank the staff at Providence Place for the loving care shown towards mom during her stay. Flowers are gratefully declined.
